A Family Friendly Destination
Astoria is a family friendly destination with lots to do and see. At the Fort Stevens State Park, visitors will enjoy miles of clean ocean beaches, the wreck of the "Peter Iredale," Coffenbury Lake, picnic facilities, nature trails, boating, camping, biking, horseback riding, and swimming. The campground is open year-around with 530 campsites.
There is also the Uppertown Firefighters Museum. It houses memorabilia from 1877 to 1963. On the second floor you’ll find the Astoria Children’s Museum and is an interactive and educational museum.
