Things To Do

What is there not to do in Granbury? From park islands to historic Victorian landmarks, golf courses, antique shops and gourmet restaurants, there is never a shortage of things to do in this unique city. In the Spring and Summer locals and visitors bask in the sun at General Granbury's Birthday Celebration, Relay for Life Cook-Off, Brazo’s River Music Fest, the Art Walk , and finally, the 4th of July Celebration. During the Fall and Winter months, the Harvest Moon Festival, Country Christmas Celebration, and Candlelight Home Tour delight guests. Whether you are enjoying an exciting murder mystery dinner cruise on the Granbury River Boat, taking in a live showcase concert at Granbury Live! or the Opera House, Granbury offers something for everyone. If you are a golf enthusiast, put on your favorite golfing shoes and hit the green at any one of several golf courses in Granbury. Hidden Oaks Golf Course offers an 18-hole, public championship course, featuring tree-lined fairways, meandering streams, lakes, and a 4 tier driving range.

Nature Enthusiasts, don’t miss the 73-acre Acton Nature Center, featuring multiple walking trails, live oaks, an abundance of wildflowers, and beautiful springs. In the center of the park, a fully functional windmill still remains.
