Healdsburg

Tucked between the Alexander, Russian River and Dry Creek valleys north of Santa Rosa and surrounded by more than 60 wineries, is the delightful town of Healdsburg. Its Spanish-style plaza, rimmed with shops, cafes, galleries, spas, and restaurants, lends this town a traditional charm.

The Healdsburg Museum was founded in 1976. The museum is housed in the refurbished former Healdsburg Carnegie Library building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Just a short walk from the Plaza, the museum houses an impressive range of artifacts and documents related to northern Sonoma County history. The ever-popular annual toy and doll exhibit during the Christmas season is a perennial favorite of old and young alike.

For a unique cinematic experience, don’t miss The Raven Theatre. Located in the heart of the wine country, The Raven Theater and Film Center offers quality films and food in a distinct and friendly theater. Built in the 1950s, The Raven Theater was renovated in 1988, preserving its original art deco flavor.
