For over 20 years, Pamela Lanier's Corpus Christi, Texas Travel Guide has been your connection to Corpus Christi's tourism community with invaluable details on local attractions, restaurants, shopping, museums, history, outdoor recreation and more.

Attractions

Corpus Christi, Texas offers Nueces River, Corpus Christi Bay, Padre Island National Seashore, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Fort Lipantitlan, Fort Marcy, Rob and Bessie Welder Foundation and Refuge, Goose Island State Park and Lake Corpus Christi.

The "Beach Loop" is a very scenic drive and can be done in about an hour with no stops (if the ferry isn't too busy), however, plan to spend a few hours to stop and browse the shops, walk the beach, swim in the surf, and enjoy the views.

Tourists enjoy Corpus Christi Museum, the Art Museum of South Texas, Corpus Christi Symphony, Corpus Christi Concert Ballet and the Corpus Christi Ballet, Harbor Playhouse, Country Peddler Show, Corpus Christi Speedway and Wednesday Night Sailboat Races. Another fine activity is the Corpus Christi Greyhound Race Track.

Discover and learn while having fun. Visit some of Texas' top attractions, including the USS Lexington Museum and the Texas State Aquarium & Dolphin Bay. Explore a treasure-trove of sights and senses at the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History & the Ships of Christopher Columbus, South Texas Institute for the Arts, Corpus Christi Botanical Gardens and Nature Center, and the long sandy Corpus Christi Beach.
