Rest and Relaxation
Fredericksburg offers plenty of activities that do not require stamina or strength with over 150 boutiques, spas, art galleries and antique stores within walking distance. Just a few miles away are over 15 wineries with tours and free tastings, Wildseed Farms with over 90 types of wildflowers and a live butterfly exhibit at the “Butterfly Haus,” the Miller Creek or Fredericksburg lavender farms and the famous Das Peach Haus, which claims to be Texas’ oldest peach stand. If the kids still aren’t tired, there’s a miniature golf course, bowling alley, movie theater and lots of pizza places!
