Shopping

Stowe Mountain Road provides visitors with over 45 unique stores where you can gratify your passion for shopping. You’ll find unique art, jewelry and crafts, handcrafted furniture, award winning Vermont specialty foods, shoes, clothing and more. Each of Stowe's shops and boutiques is unique and owner-operated, and here’s a sampling of what you’ll find. Stowe Craft Gallery & Design Center – voted as “Top 100” in America for three consecutive years, offers contemporary crafts, glass, jewelry, clothing, pottery and framed art work. The Vermont Heritage Gift and Craft Center features Vermont specialty foods, leather wallets, handbags, and backpacks, silver jewelry, folk art, a country Christmas corner, and more. Cotswold Furniture Makers is only a short walk from town and it has a fine furniture gallery, raku pottery and lamps, hand blown glass, hand painted fabric pillows, mirrors, lighting, and hand knotted rugs. For those who love flea markets, the nearby town of Waterbury hosts one every Saturday throughout the summer and fall.
