Shopping
Shopping in Stowe is nothing less than spectacular with over 45 stores lining the streets of this charming New England village. Art, furniture, jewelry, clothing and sports equipment are just a few items you’ll find during your Stowe bed and breakfast vacation. The retail district starts in historic Stowe Village and continues up Rt. 108 (the Mountain Road) towards the ski area. Many of the sugarhouses and dairy farms open their doors to visitors offering their fresh local produce. Some of the smaller in-town stores carry maple syrup, cheese, chocolate, apples, and other foods from local producers. You’ll even find roadside stores throughout the area offering antiques, wood toys and carvings, and home-stitched quilts. Stowe offers unique and memorable products, some of the highest quality "made in Vermont.” |
