Things to do in Spokane
Because of Spokane’s unique ability to combine a small town atmosphere with big city amenities, bed and breakfast travelers will be entertained all day, which will make their soft bed and crisp sheets feel even more inviting at the end of the day. Spokane is a four season destination. Spokane’s inland geographic area gives it a mild, calm climate spring, summer and fall, which provides wonderful opportunities to hike, camp, bike and golf. With winter comes snow and access to world renowned skiing, sledding and sleigh rides. For the city lovers, there’s a wealth of shopping, art galleries and museums. The only problem is how much there is to do! One way to guarantee you see the sites and yet have an easy, relaxing day, is to take the 21 mile city drive, which is easily marked and will lead you past plenty of unique landmark sites including churches and a spectacular arboretum, ending at Gonzaga University, where you may view Bing Crosby's 1944 Oscar for Going My Way. |
