Dining and Evening Entertainment
Like many Florida seaside communities, St. Petersburg’s laid back atmosphere and accessibility to the water make evening activities naturally centered around the beach. Starting your evening off watching the burning, orange sun set into the ocean is probably one of the best things about this tropical location. Maybe add a fruity cocktail to top it off, but really it doesn’t get much better than this. Followed up by a fresh catch over a long, leisurely meal in 70 degree evening weather, what more could you ask for.
For those that want more than gourmet restaurants or a fish shack on the beach, St. Petersburg offers an abundance of nightlife. Catch a ride on an evening cruise with dinner and music, dance at the BayWalk complex in St. Petersburg, or visit Tampa's famous Latin Quarter with wine bars, cigar bars, live music and plenty of people. Reserve a space in Indian Rocks Beach at the local Comedy Club for an evening indoors where you’re sure to have a good laugh, or simply catch a movie at the BayWalk Theatre, surrounded by shops open into the late evening and a gelato stop you won’t want to miss.
