Annual Events

Ridgway hosts a number of Annual Events guaranteed to gratify a diversity of interests and enthusiasts, with each event or festival as captivating and as memorable as the next, always leaving you wanting more.

Just to mention a few, and in no particular order, the Annual Balloons-n-Tunes Festival – Ridgway’s Hot Air Balloon and Music Festival definately fits this bill. What a spectacular event! Imagine, 25 beautiful hot air balloons, including 5 special shapes balloons, lifting off at sunrise in scenic Ridgway. All balloon launches and glows are open to the public and are absolutely free!

Another event, growing each year with ever increasing popularity is the Annual Ridgway Arts and Crafts Rendezvous - a definite must experience. Come and browse over 100 booths with many beautiful and diverse hand-crafted arts and crafts including quilting, wood working, photography, painting and posters, jewelry, food items, fun items, and so much more! (Karl W. Hoffman)

Closing out the spotlight festivals is the Annual Fairway Pines Golf Tournament is an event to benefit the Ridgway Visitor Center. This is a four person shut-gun start scramble that encourages participation from all. The tournament includes a grand prize for closest to the hole (par 3), continental breakfast, a Blue Ribbon Barbeque, and a silent auction. Donations are welcomed.
