Music, Film and Food Festivals
 During the warmer months, tourists from around the world flock to Aspen for the music, film and food festivals. In the spring, the renowned Food & Wine Festival brings together food lovers for a festive celebration that has become one of the world's premier food events. Over the Labor Day weekend, Jazz Aspen at Snowmass brings together some of the biggest names in jazz, rock, blues and reggae to perform at the base of the Snowmass slopes. In the fall, the Aspen Filmfest draws celebrities from far and wide, offering more than 100 independent films, shorts and documentaries. The Aspen Music Festival celebrates classical music and spans nine weeks, while the Aspen Ballet hosts the Aspen Dance Festival during July and August of each year. |
