If it's networking opportunities you seek, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce coordinates more than 100 events a year. Events such as monthly seminars, business round tables and workshops connect you with other business professionals from across the 28-county Atlanta region.
From a, let’s say a more social networking side of things, Atlanta hosts an exciting and diverse event schedule, so much so that many events overlap giving you the most opportunity with your time.

What would March be without a tremendous St. Patrick’s in Atlanta, where this great annual event is continuously improved upon. March is also the month for the annual Atlanta Home Show featuring displays of home and garden products, fully furnished and landscaped model homes open for tours.

Heralding the return to springtime in the South the Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival is held in Piedmont Park in April, with the famous Artist's Market featuring over 240 exhibitors. Also in April, the Atlanta Cooks! where national and local culinary talents are on display, along with food sampling, exciting demonstrations and seminars. Also during this time frame is the Atlanta International Auto Show that offers over 600,000 square feet of true car mania. Over 500 new vehicles are displayed; from the latest Cars, Vans, Trucks & SUV's to the newest Concept Cars, Next Year Intros and Exoctics.

With May comes the Sweet Auburn SpringFest attracting more thatn 500,000 people. It is the larges street festival in the Southeast featuring 10 stages of live entertainment, fantastic fun zone for the children, a tech expo., an international craft marketplace and much more. Celebrating the life and times of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales, is the Atlanta Celtic Festival also held May, while the Memorial Day Weekend with the Stone Mountain Park (weekend) celebration, the Atlanta Jazz Festival close out the month.

June starts out with the Music Midtown Festival, the Atlanta Film Festival, typically held during the second month in June, and closing out the month with Atlanta Pride with participants from the Atlanta greater area, around the State, and beyond.

Ah, the 4th of July. Hosted in a variety of locations, the 4th of July hosts a plethora of events filled with fun and excitement for everyone – fireworks typically begin around 9:30pm. July is also host to the National Black Arts Festival with artists from the Caribbean, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

The largest gathering of National and International Music Industry Insiders, the Press, and popular up and coming bands of the Southeast come together in early August for the Atlantis Music Conference, followed by the Downtown Atlanta Restaurant Week event.

Labor Day Weekend is cause for celebration in Atlanta as the last three day weekend of the summer. The Taste of Atlanta with live cooking demonstrations and classes, children’s activities and lots of great food, takes place in mid September.

The Columbus Day Weekend and the Bands of America Regional Championships take place in October.

The Out On Film Festival, the Thanksgiving Weekend, the Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon, and Rich’s Macy’s Great Tree Lighting are all happening events in November.

The Children’s Christmas Parade, the Annual Festival of Trees, and Atlanta Christmas Holidays are the big ticket events in December which closes out with the Peach Bowl Parade and Game, and closing out the evening with Atlanta’s New Year’s Festival. There is always something going on in Atlanta. Come and experience Atlanta’s energy.
