Things to do in Barcelona
Barcelona has something for everyone, and the best way to get the most out of your vacation is to take a tour of the historical sights in the city. Then if you're feeling adventurous a hot air balloon ride over Catalonia or a sailing cruise along the shore will certainly set the mood.
All you wine connoisseurs won't want to miss out on a visit to Torres Winery to see how wine is made in Spain. Just remember to check on what tours are available a head of time so you can plan your itinerary accordingly.
When you're vacation starts to wind down and some relaxing time is in order why not head for the beach. There are plenty of beaches close by but if you don't mind a half hour trip outside of the city, the myriad beaches in the resort of Sitges are less crowded, there's jet skiing available and they even have ice cream parlors.
When all the daytime activities are out of the way the spectacular nightlife begins in Barcelona. The clubs and bars are open until the wee hours of the morning for dancing and socializing, but for something a bit more cultural you may want to attend a concert or a performance at the Palau de la Musica Catalana concert hall. |
