Rockland’s Bird Sanctuary
South of Montego Bay is Rockland’s Bird Sanctuary, the ideal setting for bird watchers and nature lovers. Home to a variety of tropical fauna and wildlife, including vibrantly colored birds and reptiles, this sanctuary is just that, a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. Take this opportunity to hand feed hummingbirds, coral, white flamingoes and many other bird species. If you do not have time to visit this nearby attraction or simply want to stay local, not to worry, you may observe these colorful winged creatures from the comfort of your bed and breakfast as Jamaica is filled with birds, butterflies and everything in between.
