Cabo Real
Along Highway 1, dotting the coastline between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, are luxurious hotels and magnificent golf courses that are like oases in the middle of the Los Cabos desert. From the road, the traveler has no idea what to expect. There is only a small gate with swaying palms and beautiful flowers designating that something wonderful is hugging the cliffs and sandy beaches below. Venturing further, in lush tropical seclusion, each property awaits.
Golf is king in Cabo Real. There are six of the finest golf courses in the world, each a feast for the eye and a challenge for the golfing spirit. And still more are on the way with others under construction. Jack Nicholaus called Cabo del Sol golf course (ocean course) "...the finest three finishing holes of golf in the world." Since the weather is always lovely, a tee time of 7:30 a.m. is not only warm, it is strikingly beautiful as you watch the sun rise over the shimmering blue sea.
