On The Menu
Once you've filled up on the history and scenery, it's time to literally get a taste of Prescott. Whiskey Row, named after the saloons that once lined the streets, is home to a vast array of restaurants serving regional and international fare.
From funky little hole-in-the-wall joints to award-winning gourmet restaurants there is always something to suit your mood. There are local, old-timers serving up "cowboy grub" as well as Asian-Fusion spots for sushi (yes, fresh sushi in the desert) and gourmet steak houses.
After dinner, you can wander through town listening to live music , take in a play at the Prescott Fine Arts Association, an opera at the Elks Opera House or stop for a homemade ice cream cone at the old-fashioned soda fountain. Or you can just gaze at the evening stars that fill the clear Arizona night sky and let the cool desert breeze help you digest a wonderful day in paradise.
