Aquarium & Science Center

A day at the National Aquarium is an experience that bed and breakfast lodgers will remember for years to come. Within the two buildings of the aquarium there are fish from Maryland, stingrays, tarpon, green turtles, dolphin displays, shark tanks, a rooftop rainforest and other species of fish. There are several exhibits that are worth taking the time to explore such as the Dolphin Encounter, Sharks Behind the Scenes and the Rainforest Sleepover. Each exhibit is designed to give visitors a hands-on experience of the marine life.

Bed and breakfast travelers who brought the kids must take the family to The Maryland Science Center. With over twenty exhibits on display, this museum will entertain the kids for hours. The complex has a planetarium, an observatory, an Imax theater, dinosaur skeletons and much more. Some of the exhibits are Follow the Blue Crab, Dinosaur Mysteries, Newton’s Alley and Your Body the Inside Story. There’s also a kid’s room where the youngsters may participate in hands-on activities.

With great family attractions such as these, bed and breakfast travelers shouldn’t hesitate to bring the entire family to Baltimore. And after a fun filled day of family entertainment, retreat to the lavish comfort of a Baltimore bed and breakfast. Baltimore is home to several family friendly bed and breakfasts that offer specialized amenities to ensure that your family vacation is relaxing and memorable.
