Potato Bacon Casserole - Print Friendly Page



  
Yield: 12 servings 

Ingredients:
1 package (32 ounces) Country Style Hash Browns
12 ounces grated extra sharp cheddar cheese
24 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
3 1/2 cups skim milk
1 1/2 cups Half and Half, half milk, half cream
2 large whole green onions, chopped
2 pounds bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions:
Layer two greased 9"x12" pans or one 12"x17" pan with potatoes, then cheese. Mix eggs, milk, half & half, and spices. Pour evenly over the potatoes and cheese. Top with onion and bacon. Bake at 325°F for one hour. Broil lightly if necessary to finish.
