Sue's Hot Fruit - Print Friendly Page



Ingredients:
1 can pineapple chunks
1 can sliced peaches
1 can pear slices
1 can Queen Anne Cherries
1/2 cup white raisins
3 oranges sliced
2 T Butter
2 T flour
1 cup of liquid saved from canned fruit
1/2 cup sugar

Instructions:
Drain canned fruit. Save 1 cup of juice for later. Put drained fruit, raisins and sliced oranges in a round casserole dish. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add flour and mix. Add 1 cup of fruit liquid and heat until mixture thickens. Pour sugar over fruit and then cover with butter and liquid mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes while stirring occassionally.
