Pear Cake - Print Friendly Page



Ingredients:
4 cups soft sliced pears (5 pears)
2 cups sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 beaten eggs




Instructions:
Pare, core and chop pears. Mix with walnuts and sugar. Let stand for 1 hour. Stir often. Add dry ingredients, oil, vanilla extract, eggs and mix well. Pour into a greased Bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Perfect for cold winter mornings.
