Arvilla's Rice Pudding - Print Friendly Page



  
Yield: 6 servings 

Ingredients:
2 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 cups milk
2 cups precooked rice
1 tbsp. Butter, melted
1/2 cup raisins (or more)
Nutmeg

Instructions:
Preheat oven to about 325 degrees F.

Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add 1/2 cup milk and stir. Repeat adding milk and stirring four times till milk is used. Add cooled, melted butter. Pour mixture into rice. Add raisins. Sprinkle nutmeg on top.

Bake 1 hour or until knife inserted into middle comes out clean.
