Ingredients:
Need a quick dessert? This can be done in a half hour and tastes great!
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup crisco
3 Tablespoons cocoa
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon soda
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
Bring Crisco, water, cocoa to boil in 2 quart saucepan. Then add dry ingredients. Add eggs soda, milk & vanilla and mix well. Bake in greased cookie sheet 15 ½ x 10 ½” x 1 for 20 min. at 350 Start icing while cake is baking in the same pan you used for the cake. Heat 1/2 stick oleo, 3 Tbs. cocoa, 6 Tbs. milk. Remove from heat add 1 box 10x sugar, ½ cup chopped nuts & 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour over warm cake.
