Overnight Baked French Toast - Print Friendly Page



  
Yield: 10 servings 

Ingredients:
10"x13"x3" greased pan
12 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 loaf French bread
4 cups milk
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Topping:
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup melted butter
1 cup maple syrup
1 cup crushed nuts

Instructions:
Slice french bread into 2" slices; arrange in baking dish. Mix eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg together and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In morning, turn bread over in pan. Mix topping ingredients; spread over the top and bake at 350°F for 60-75 minutes, until thoroughly done.
