Ingredients: 8 egg yolks
1 cup sugar
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 quart milk, scalded
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 quart oatmeal, cooked and cooled
2 cups golden raisins
Nutmeg (for garnish)
Instructions: Beat together egg yolks, sugar and cinnamon. Stir in milk and vanilla. Fold in oatmeal and golden raisins. Pour into a casserole and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes. Serve warm.
