Ingredients: Topping:
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup soft butter
Filling:
4 TBS flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 eggs (med)
2 cups sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp nutmeg
6 medium apples, peeled and shredded
Instructions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine filling and place in a deep dish 10" pie shell. Place pie in oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees continue baking for 45 minutes or until pie is set. Add crumb topping and bake an additional 10 minutes at 400 degrees.
Notes: The filling and topping are for a 10" pie or for 2 8" pies.
