Evening Shade Pecan Pie - Print Friendly Page



Ingredients:
3 large eggs, beaten well
½ stick of melted butter
2/3 cup of white sugar
1 cup of white corn syrup
1 ½ cup of chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:
Beat all above ingredients, then add 1 cup of white corn syrup and 1 ½ cup of chopped pecans. Add 1-teaspoon vanilla. Mix well.

Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Then turn oven to 350° and bake an additional 40 minutes.


Notes:
Note: Use pie shield to prevent burning when crust reaches desired brownness.
