The Essex Inn has just been accepted into Virginia's Green Lodging program. Green Lodging encourages hotels, resorts, and inns to be aware of their impact on the environment and to take steps to reduce these impacts. Green Lodging is a non-regulatory program, and participation is completely voluntary and free of charge.
In honor of this program we are launching our It's Easy Being Green special. Park you car when you arrive, stay for two night's, enjoy walking to shops, restaurants, ride your bike to hidden creeks and the golf course.
