Newport National and its Orchard Course unfold across 200 rolling acres of former farmland with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and Narragansett Bay. Designed by prominent golf architect Arthur Hills and his associate Drew Rogers, Newport National plays fast and firm with greens, tees and fairways consisting of 100% seaside bent grass, and grand, swaying fescue often exceeding 4’ in length. Reminiscent of some of Ireland's finest golf links. Golf Week Magazine named it top 20 "new course" in America and number-one in Rhode Island.

For preferred tee times, please reserve with us prior to your arrival. Preferred Guests save 15% on green fees. Weekdays are $95 (Monday - Wednesday, Sunday after 1pm), weekends $125 (Thursday - Saturday, Sunday until 1pm). Green fees are per player. Reservations are held with a credit card. There is a 2-day cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation with 2-days or less notice before tee time, or don't show up, you forfeit your deposit and tee time. Tee times subject to availability and weather conditions. Available through late Fall.

The first U.S. Open was played right here in 1881 on the same grass courts that today ring the historic Tennis Hall of Fame museum. These 13 lawn tennis courts contine to host the best players in the world, and now you can join them. It's literally Wimbledon in Newport.
