"Wednesday Night October 4th. We had 2 rooms on the 2nd Floor momento and moonglow. Both were very roomy with nice bathrooms in the room. Beds very comfortable. Downstrairs has alot of room for sitting and relaxing. 4 bottes of wine, cheese, olives (yum) in late afternoon. Also had a chocolate theme going with some snacks, plus chocolate Port when came back from dinner. Dinner at Zin (1 block walk) was above expectation for food quality. All restaurants you could ever want to eat at are within 4 short blocks of the Inn...this place is one block from the main square. Breakfast was fantastic (alot of options...yogurt, cereal, OJ, Coffee, scones, eggs casserole, fresh bread, mixed fruit). Pool in back is nice, a little to cool for us this time of year. Loved the place. Only stayed one night. Will stay here longer next time (great shops, restaurants/cafes, bakeries, good place to run...)." - WindyTraveler, North Carolina
"We stayed 3 nights at the Camellia Inn the 3rd week of September. We arrived in time for the evening wine and cheese and 2 jet lagged New Yorkers had a nice relaxing start to our vacation. The Inn is lovely, our room (Moonglow) had many antique touches. It was very comfortable. We couldn't open the front windows, so we had to use the air conditioner in the room.
Everything, in town, was within walking distance.
The breakfasts were delicious and we always enjoyed having converations with the other guests about restaurants and the wineries.
Lucy was always willing to help us with our plans and make reservations (she got us on the waiting list at Willi's and we were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival time) and give discount coupons if possible.
At the Inn's recommendation, we had a winery tour with Gene Warren of Healdsburg Wine Tours. We highly recommend it. It was the highlight of our trip." - KayCarl, Long Island, NY
