It's the spring of 1905 in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. You have been invited to a party at a Victorian mansion in the "Silk Stocking District" of the resort city of Eureka Springs, Northwest Arkansas. Cyrus K. Conrail, railroad baron and president of the newly opened Eureka Springs & Northwest Arkansas Railroad Company, is throwing a party to dedicate and celebrate the opening of his railroad from Eureka Springs to St. Louis. He has invited investors, community members, family, and acquaintances that have contributed to the creation of the railroad.
Most city residents welcome and anticipate the boon to their city with the arrival of the railroad. However, the coming of the railroad is not without controversy. Then there are the greedy and covetous friends and relatives of Mr. Cyrus Conrail; a man who would never describe himself as a paragon of virtue and civility, much less be described as such by his family, friends, and business associates… Suddenly a scream is heard! Who dies and who did it?
