The permanent collection is comprised of approximately 10,000 objects, a key strength of which is the collection of European works on paper. The Museum, however, is best known for its holdings in American art. The current featured exhibit is the playful, inventive and interactive world of Walter Wick. His work will be the subject of Games, Gizmos and Toys in the Attic on view from Sept. 7, 2008 - Jan. 26, 2009, including photographs and 3-D displays highlighting his children's books.
