A private trail in our lower meadow offers a gentle hike with views of Mount Walker. For the more adventures, hike the old logging road next to the INN, up to Mount Sexton. You will wind though massive sprawling oaks, old growth of manzanita, seasonal waterfalls dripping down jagged black rocks, large grassy areas and an abundance of wild life. This hike has plenty of uphill sections. You will also enjoy views of the Coast Range, Jack's creek, Jumpoff Joe watersheds and the snow-capped Siskiyous. BEST OF ALL, with this special "Green Getaway" you will have the opportunity to plant a tree in our lower meadow next to the trail. A plaque with your name and date on it will be placed next to the tree. We provide you with the seedling tree and help in planting it. Just think how much fun it will be to return some day to see how big your tree has grown. A photo of the event is yours as well.
