It's a great, fun way to spend your Saturday and several events are held on Friday night. The Arts Council will also host the 16th Annual SC HUMANITIES FESTIVAL on both days. The theme of this years event is "Building Community through Culture". This two day celebration includes: *Fri. - A narrated, historical music revue of Marlboro County, held @ the Marlboro Civic Center - 7:30PM. Though free, tickets are required and are available from the Marlboro Arts Council 843-479-6982. *A grant writing workshop *3 Mile bike ride and a 2 mile fun walk. *Marlboro Area Arts Council Annual JUBILEE ARTS FESTIVAL SAT. 10AM-4PM Fine art, crafts, live entertainment and food vendors can be enjoyed by all. Some of the southeast's finest artist and craftsmen exhibit and sell their work at JUBILEE Held @ the Bennettsville Community Center. *GUIDED & SELF-GUIDED TOURS OF BENNETTSVILLE'S DOWNTOWN HISTORIC DISTRICT *Bennettsville Downtown Development Association DANCE with live music. Events are held in Bennettsville's downtown, @ the Civic Center, and the Bennettsville Community Center. Call 843-479-3941 for details. All events are free.
