Forks is certainly known for its Twilight legacy, but bed and breakfast visitors have long known Forks to be an amazing vacation destination. These days, Forks is better than ever and welcomes bed and breakfast visitors with open arms. The Hoh Rainforest is another Forks outdoor attraction: this forest is about an hour drive for bed and breakfast visitors, but it is well worth it. The Hoh Rainforest is one of the few remaining rainforests in the United States. The Pacific Beaches are another big draw for Forks bed and breakfast guests. These are often cold and windy, but the surfing is top-notch and the scenery cannot be beat. The rivers in Forks provide lots of sporting options for bed and breakfast visitors as well: trout and salmon fishing is among some of the best in the world. In its history, Fork was an important logging center and this heritage remains. The Forks Timber Museum showcases the history of this industry and includes many interesting exhibits. Another unique Forks activity for bed and breakfast visitors to enjoy is Tillicum Park, which has one of the few Shay train engines left in the United States.
