We're Becky and Michael O'Connor, and we've been
sharing our world with visitors and guests since
1987. From 1992 through 1998, we owned an award-
winning bed and breakfast, The Old Stone House, on
the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland.
There, we had an opportunity to share the natural,
cultural, and ancient wonders of that beautiful
place with the guests at our bed and breakfast and
on our Dingle Bay sailing trips. From 1987 to 1992
we introduced people to sailing and to the natural
history of Casco Bay, Maine, through three-day
sailing expeditions on our boat, the Kimberly
Laura.

Now, we welcome the opportunity to share with you
another very special part of the world:
Southwestern New Mexico, the Silver City area, and
the Gila National Forest and Gila Wilderness.

Michael did his geological training in New Mexico,
Montana, and Arizona, and is looking forward to
sharing with you his knowledge and love of the
west, its diverse and complex landscape, and its
history. Becky is excited to have once again
created a wonderful and comfortable home-away-
from-home for you while you sample the diversity
of America's Southwest.

When we are not busy taking care of the Casitas,
Michael's favorite occupation is painting, while
Becky keeps herself occupied by making jewelry.

We look forward to meeting you soon at our Stress-
Free Zone: Casitas de Gila Guesthouses and Art
Gallery, not too far from Silver City, in
Southwestern New Mexico!
