After Bill and I married and had children, I began my formal training as a professional chef and pursued a BS degree in Foodservice Management at New York University. After working a short time as an assistant chef and inventory supervisor, I switched gears and worked for a major pharmaceutical corporation as a marketing research analyst for 12 years. Yearning to get back to my true love of cooking and baking, Bill and I decided to buy a B&B in New England. After reading a Yankee Magazine article about the many outdoor activities of the Mt. Washington Valley area, we decided that it would also offer us a more peaceful way of life. Bill - I grew up around a lot of family and friends in a small town in Central New Jersey. When we weren’t playing baseball or basketball or hide and seek, we were exploring the nearby streams and woods. New Hampshire still maintains a lot of the same values that neighborhoods used to have and it 's been a great part of making our transition here that much more enjoyable.
