After looking for three years for the perfect
location, Eleanor and Frank Damico, innkeepers,
purchased "Ridge View" in January 1996. A graduate
of St. Francis College, Eleanor worked at various
jobs while raising their three children. Her last
job prior to retirement was as the Chief Financial
Officer of a small computer company. Her great
passion in life is cooking and entertaining.
Frank, with a bachelor's degree from Washington &
Jefferson College and a Master's from the University
of Virginia, has spent 42 years as a teacher, coach,
counselor and career center specialist in Fairfax
County Public Schools. He is now retired as an
educator, works part time at a local winery, and is
enjoying being an innkeeper.
Both Eleanor and Frank approach innkeeping with the
philosophy that prospective guests are friends in
waiting.
