Eli Shahar is the owner of Bradford Place Inn. It is his real job and it is a passion which she takes seriously.

Eli is a California native. He moved to Sonora in 2011 after spending several years overseas and purchased Bradford Place in July of 2011. Previously she had spent 20 years in the corporate world working as an electronic engineer but also devoted to his passion of gourmet cooking, entertaining friends and music. Leaving a 6 figure income is not taken lightly, but quality of life is more important than making money so Eli made this change.

To train for the new task of hospitality specialist, I studied pastry baking at the 4Chef institute of Tel Aviv, then learned running the business from the previous owner of Bradford Place Inn (Dottie Musser) "It is truly the easiest thing I have ever done. I have so much fun mixing the fussiness of the inn with honest, down home Gold Country hospitality. I also thrive on the business side of things."

Assisting Eli in the task of running the inn are the ever faithful companions "Mary Lou and Billy Ray". They're always the first to greet you, and the most enthusiastic hosts you'll ever meet.
