The Don Gaspar Inn was created by Shirley Isgar and David Alford over 20 years ago. Originally the home of Shirley - a physician at the time, the Main House served to extend the tradition begun in Durango Colorado at the Blue Lake Ranch and made a nice transition to a bed and breakfast in Santa Fe. Adding the Pueblo Adobe home next door a bit later and eventually the corner Territorial Property gave the Inn a lovely selection in Architechture and Style.
David Alford - a well respected master of Landscape and Gardening is responsible for the beautiful and lush trademark Gardens that guests enjoy, while Shirley plans, designs and oversees architechture, design and all operations of the properties.
The location and privacy offer a perfect combination of convenience and ambiance that is very hard to match in Santa Fe.
With an eye on the Southwest experience, the Alfords have successfully met their goal to offer luxury accommodations at an affordable price in the heart of Santa Fe.
