A place to call home...
from The Potter's Inn
I have been the innkeeper since August 2010 and I love it! It has taken me many years, but I finally know what I want to be when I grow up (not that I plan on growing up any time soon.)
I am blessed to be able to use my God-given talents everyday. What a joy to give guests who are passing through a place to call home for a few days. I enjoy cooking and extending hospitality, so this is a perfect match for me.
When guests come to the inn I want them to feel like they have come home. In fact, I often greet my returning guests by saying "Welcome Home!" Many of the visitors to The Potters Inn are visiting family who are in the area for school. It is not unusual to have a family invite their college student, along with several of his/her friends to come and just "hang out" at the inn.
Through my catering business, Entertaining Angels, I am able to offer luncheons, dinners and receptions for those who are celebrating special events such as weddings, graduations or family reunions. There are the kind of things I love to do!
Those who know me, will tell you that I'm not one for settling down, but with all the wonderful people I get to meet through the Potter's Inn, I think I'll stay put for a while.
Tell your hosts Pamela Lanier sent you!
