Innkeeper's Story
presenting
Your Innkeepers
from The Mercersburg Inn

Lisa and Jim McCoy left the corporate world in
Manhattan and took ownership of the Mercersburg Inn
in May of 2004.
Lisa was a senior technology consultant with
PeopleSoft, having also worked at Arthur Anderson
and Chemical Bank. She was born in Russia and left
before the fall of communism in 1981. She has a
Master's degree in engineering.
Jim was a VP at JPMorgan Chase managing computer
technology groups for 20 years. He also was at Royal
Insurance companies for 10 years. He was born in
Manhattan and lived in NYC and the surrounding
suburbs of Long Island. He has a BA in Education.
For their last 5 years in Manhattan, Lisa's work
required her to live in various US cities for most
of the year while Jim remained in New York. Flying
across the country twice every weekend became
extremely difficult. After 9/11, Jim's office was
moved from the financial district in lower Manhattan
to Dallas and he decided not to make that move. So
they sold their home in Manhattan and bought the
Mercersburg Inn.
They live in the Inn and are involved in the daily
operation. They welcome you to share in the grandeur
of their home and hope to please you with their
hospitality.
