Twin Pine Farm was established in 1939. M. Norman Kurtz, proprietor’s father, Moses Kurtz, a farmer, bought 60 acres of ground to establish a family homestead, located along state Route 322, four miles West of Ephrata, Pennsylvania. As a teenager, Norm began to repair and sell used cars which developed a reputation for exotic cars. Mr. Kurtz is now carrying this same tradition of quality and excellence in the development of his private home into a charming Bed & Breakfast. In 1972 he built a quaint A-frame home, which he enlarged in 1983. In 1997, he continued to enlarge his home to 10,000 square feet. It has now become the Manor house on 26 acres. The Manor is spacious, regal, and inviting, surrounded by Northern Lancaster farms and includes a high density of Amish and Mennonite Farms. Pine Manor is a rural retreat setting for B & B guests!
