Ray is a native New Yorker whose love for the East Coast and looking for a slower paced lifestyle, moved to Old Orchard Beach in 2001. Heidi is a native of Portland Maine, has lived here most of her life. Alison, who is Heidi’s daughter, is our young apprentice Innkeeper.
Together we have started an exciting and fulfilling chapter in our lives as Innkeepers. From greeting the guests upon arrival to chatting during breakfast, we enjoy getting to know you and helping you with any day trip planning you might need while staying at the Atlantic Birches Inn. We enjoy decorating the Inn with Antique Furnishings that Ray has collected and restored, including some pictures of Old Orchard Beach during the early 1900’s that gives you a little history on the Inn and Town of Old Orchard Beach.
