The Owners

from Jacksonville's Magnolia Inn

In 2006, we were vacationing from our home in Orange County, California, with the goal of exploring as much of Oregon as two weeks would allow. Some close friends from the Portland area told us of the charming town of Jacksonville, and said it was a “must visit”. Not only did we fall in love with a town we’d never heard of, but we fortuitously stayed at Jacksonville’s Magnolia Inn. We’re certainly glad we did! The Inn captured our hearts the very first time we saw it! The quaint, friendly town of Jacksonville instilled in us warm, cozy feelings from an era we thought no longer existed.

In 2007, we decided to start a new career by leaving our current jobs, purchasing Jacksonville’s Magnolia Inn, and moving to Jacksonville. With our past experience in the hospitality industry at the corporate level, we knew we could create a vacation spot that provides feelings of comfort and hospitality that we, ourselves, have always appreciated.

In January, 2008, we began a new round of remodeling at the Inn designed to reflect elegance, comfort, and above all to create an atmosphere that puts you first!
