Neither Ron nor Linde had "always dreamed of opening a B&B", but after they bought the house in 1996 they found that, being musicians, other musicians constantly wanted to stay there for gigs because it was so convenient. Ron & Linde enjoyed having these house guests, so the idea for a business was born. In 2001 they remodeled their 1870 home and opened the Morrison House Bed and Breakfast. Linde and Ron both have a high-tech background, so they were able to incorporate the latest electronic conveniences. Over the years they've hosted people from every continent, and by now there are nearly 3000 names on their guest register. In 2011 they embarked on another remodeling project, adding two ground floor guest rooms and a roof deck and restoring the exterior to it's pre-aluminum siding elegance. Even after 10 years, Ron and Linde continue to enjoy giving friendly yet unobtrusive service to provide a homey, comfortable, and convenient stay for their guests.
