In 2006 Richard Spanton Jr and Chrissie Spanton began the renovations on the old limestone farmstead. The home was built in 1858. With the help of Saundra Spanton, Innkeeper, the inn started to quickly take shape into what it is today. 7000 square feet were added and a new foundation was dug to help secure the tons of limestone added.
The renovation took over 2 1/2 years do to the attention of detail from Richard Spanton Jr and Chrissie Spanton. They designed the entire inn on their own, no help from designers.
With 7 beautiful suites with private baths, a mini spa, theater area, Hideaway bar, and many more amenities. The Spanton's did not miss one thing.
The inn is only 1 hour from Madison, 1 hour from Milwaukee and 1 1/2 from Downtown Chicago.
