Innkeeper's Story
presenting
The Shane family welcomes you to the Apple Bin Inn
from Apple Bin Inn

The Shane family's roots are widespread, with Steve from Long Island, Jamie from southwestern Pennsylvania, and their son, Dylan, born in Nashville. Corporate moves to West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, and Tennessee, plus frequent international travel to Asia and Europe, helped broaden their life experiences.
In 2003, following long engineering careers, Jamie & Steve decided to retire early from "corporate America" and pursue a totally different lifestyle. After deciding that a bed & breakfast would be the next chapter in their lives, they embarked on an extensive search, from Alabama to Vermont and every state in between, to find their perfect location. Upon arriving in Lancaster County, they knew their search had ended!
With their love of cooking and meeting new people, and their focus on every guest's total enjoyment of their Lancaster County experience, Steve & Jamie have made the Apple Bin Inn a true haven for travelers. They have welcomed guests from 45 states, more than 50 foreign countries, and all 7 continents (yes, even Antarctica)! They cordially invite you to discover for yourself what so many guests have already found ~ a home-away-from-home at the Apple Bin Inn!

Most prominent links are to inn website directly." - Innkeeping.org from Jan. 08 "Your web site has been the sensation of the decade. The Extreme Tracker we have on our page shows that after our own URL, the greatest number of hits come off your site. Your products, both print and online, are the standards for the industry." - Thurston House, Searsport, ME |
