Meet Your Innkeepers Judy & Tod!
from Ivory Creek B&B Inn
Innkeepers Judy and Tod Loebel welcome you to the Ivory Creek B&B Inn.
Ivory Creek Bed and Breakfast Inn is absolutely a dream come true for us. We meet so many interesting people and enjoy conversing with them on such a wide variety of subjects! Not a day goes by where we don’t learn something new and exciting! We feel so lucky to be able to know so many new “friends.”
We designed Ivory Creek to accommodate our large and growing family. We have eleven children and they have blessed us with twenty five grandchildren, with one more on the way. Our family is close and we try to get everyone together for a week or so at least once or twice a year. We had started these group vacations when the family wasn’t quite so large, with all of us taking turns hosting all the siblings and their children. Very quickly we outgrew “normal” houses and there are lots of stories we can tell about those adventures! The overcrowding problem turned into the solution of “Ivory Creek Bed and Breakfast Inn.” We close the inn when the offspring are scheduled to arrive and play grandparents and for the rest of the year, we are innkeepers.
Both of us have worked outside the home as well. Judy is a clinical chemist involved in trials of medical devices all over the country. Tod is now retired from his career as an engineer working as a project manager for Lockheed Martin doing all sorts of secret things! He is now a full time innkeeper. Everyone has an interesting story. Come and tell us yours. We would love to hear it!
Tell your hosts Pamela Lanier sent you!
