Innkeeper's Story
presenting
Your Innkeepers
from Parkview B&B Inn

Tom and Donna Hofmann, owners of Parkview B&B have
lived in the area for more than 40 years. They can
tell you about off-the-beaten places to visit.
Former educators – Tom, a math teacher and Donna, a
home economics teacher decided in 1988 to move to
Reedsburg where they purchased and restored the home
that is now the Parkview B&B. Their three young
children helped them during the restoration process,
which took place both inside and outside the home.
The children also helped with the business of
running a B&B, learning it from the ground level up.
It was a family affair. All of the Hofmann children
have since gone on to professional jobs away from
Reedsburg, but every once in awhile their daughters
still fill in for their parents as innkeepers when
Donna and Tom travel, often staying in B&B’s. Tom
enjoys hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He
tends the small family garden in the summer and
after working about 20 years in the produce
department of grocery stores, he is now retired. His
eye for produce helps Donna as she plans the
breakfast menus for their guests. Donna enjoys
cooking, searching out new recipes and ideas,
decorating, tending the flower gardens and offering
sincere hospitality to their guests.
