A Message From Pamela
Dear Association Folks,
I've just returned from speaking at conferences all over the
Eastern Seaboard and I discovered something I know you'll relate to - state and
regional bed and breakfast associations are extremely important to this
industry. Whether the issue was very
restrictive zoning in Maryland, a plethora of competitive properties from other
lodging classes in Florida or the importance of lobbying to retain financial
independence in Maine, it is extremely important that innkeepers have a forum
in which to share with their peers on subjects where particular locations and
conditions create unique challenges.
As the end of our 25th year of working with
you all draws to a close, I want to thank you so much for the help you have
given me, but mostly I want to thank you for the tremendous role you play and
all the incredibly hard work you do mostly as volunteers to keep this vital and
independent industry going. Bravo.
